What transmission does the Yixuan use?

Yixuan uses two types of transmissions, one is a 5-speed manual transmission, and the other is a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yixuan is a compact car under the Dongfeng Fengshen brand, equipped with two engines: a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The 1.0-liter engine has a maximum power of 92 kW and a maximum torque of 196 Nm; the 1.5-liter engine has a maximum power of 110 kW and a maximum torque of 230 Nm. In terms of suspension, the Yixuan uses a MacPherson independent suspension at the front and a torsion beam non-independent suspension at the rear.
I drove a Dongfeng Fengshen Yixuan last year, and it came with a slick 6-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission that really impressed me. It handled city streets smoothly, with quick shifts that felt almost instant, and on the highway, it kept things steady and efficient, squeezing out better mileage than I expected. The dual-clutch design means it uses two separate clutches for odd and even gears, so acceleration is responsive without the jerky upshifts you get in older automatics. For everyday driving, it's brilliant because it adapts to different speeds—great for stop-and-go traffic where a manual would feel tedious. What surprised me was how quiet it ran even after long hours behind the wheel; no rattling noises like in some cheaper setups. If you're into tech stuff, this transmission also cuts fuel consumption by optimizing shift points, which adds up to savings over time without sacrificing fun on the road.
