What to do with ETC after vehicle transfer and license plate change?

If you need to handle the ETC license plate change, you should bring the license plate change procedures, along with your ID card and vehicle license, to the original bank processing point or any ETC processing point established by the highway department to handle the change business. The ETC installation process is as follows: Upon receiving the device, first check whether the ETC card and electronic tag (OBU) are damaged. Press the anti-tamper button on the back of the OBU. The red light will briefly light up, and the OLED screen will display "Tag Invalid" and "Please Insert Card," indicating the device is functioning normally. Clean the front windshield to ensure the glass surface is smooth, clean, and dry. Then peel off the OBU adhesive backing film, stick it to the installation position, and press it with your hand for 2-3 minutes to remove any air bubbles. Insert the ETC card with the front side facing the driver and the back side facing the front glass, ensuring the chip is inserted into the OBU device.
