Prepare the tools needed to replace the spark plug. Remove the high-voltage cap of the motorcycle. Attach the spark plug wrench, turn it counterclockwise to loosen the spark plug, and then remove the spark plug. Replace with a new spark plug and reattach the high-voltage cap.
Last time my motorcycle got flooded and wouldn't start, I was really worried. Later, the mechanic told me to first turn off the fuel tank switch and not to twist the throttle immediately. Remove the spark plug to see if it's wet, dry it off, and put it back. If the battery still has power, try kicking the starter lever a few times to drain excess gasoline. This trick is especially useful in rainy weather, but remember to wear gloves to avoid burning your hands. After handling, it's recommended to check if the air filter has water in it. If it's wet, dry it or replace it with a new one. When parking, remember to cover the motorcycle to avoid flooding again.
