What to Do When Your Car Has No Power?

You can choose to jump-start the car with the help of another vehicle and then recharge it through the engine. Clean the inspection eye on the battery. If it appears white, it indicates that the battery has reached the end of its lifespan. During normal use, the electrolyte in a car battery will naturally evaporate and deplete. Insufficient electrolyte levels can lead to inadequate power storage in the car battery.
After that camping trip, I found the car completely unresponsive with a pitch-black dashboard, probably because the door wasn't closed properly and drained the battery. I quickly pulled out the emergency power supply and connected it to the positive and negative terminals, but the old buddy still wouldn't start. In the end, I borrowed a neighbor's car for a jump start: first started his car, connected the red clamp to my battery's positive terminal, and the black clamp to the engine's metal bracket (remember, never connect it directly to the negative terminal), waited a few minutes, and then successfully started the engine. Afterwards, I went to the repair shop to test the battery's lifespan and found out it had already been five years and needed replacement. I also learned a handy trick to check monthly for oxidation on the battery terminals.
