What to Do When Water Gets into the Car Chassis?

First, remove the soaked carpets and then clean out any remaining water inside the car. There are several rubber plugs on the vehicle chassis; open them to drain the accumulated water. Place the car in a spacious area to facilitate water evaporation. Park the vehicle in a sunny spot and leave the doors open to air it out. If there is moisture inside the car, turn on the air conditioning and switch the vehicle's circulation to internal mode to help expel the water vapor. Since the carpets become damp when wet, they can easily breed bacteria. Use professional disinfectants or alcohol to sanitize the interior of the car.
