What to Do When There's a Layer of Paint Haze on the Car?

Apply car wax to the exterior of the vehicle. Use the brush head of a polishing machine to evenly apply the car wax. Polish the wax into a hazy state, then start high-power polishing. Continue polishing for about 1 minute to complete the paint polishing process.
That day I parked my car near a construction site to grab something, and when I came back, the car body was covered in fine white particles that stuck to my fingers when I touched them. This was definitely paint mist drifting from nearby spray painting, and if it dried, it would corrode the car's paint. I quickly drove to a car wash and used a high-pressure water gun to rinse off the loose dust. The owner said it's best not to wipe it hard with a cloth at this stage, as it could scratch the paint. After rinsing most of it off, I used a neutral car wash solution with a sponge to gently wipe, focusing on flat areas like the hood and roof. Finally, I spent 80 yuan on a full-body decontamination and waxing. The technician said this kind of overspray must be cleaned within three days; otherwise, once it hardens, it would require polishing to remove, and the original factory paint might not even be preserved.
