What to Do When the Zotye T600 One-Button Start Doesn't Work?

Zotye t600 one-button start does not work for the following reasons: 1. The car steering wheel is locked: If the steering wheel is turned after the vehicle is turned off, it will be locked. In this case, just turn the steering wheel left and right while pressing the one-button start. 2. The gear is not in P position: Due to the system's protection mechanism, if the automatic transmission car is not in the parking gear P position, the vehicle cannot be started. 3. The car key is out of power: When the car key is out of power or the battery is low, the sensor inside the car cannot detect it, so the vehicle will definitely not start. 4. Some models require pressing the one-button start twice to start the car, while others require long pressing the one-button start to start the model.
Last week when I drove my Zotye T600 to pick up my kid, I encountered the same situation. Later I found out the key fob battery was almost dead. First try pressing the key against the start button for 3 seconds - it can temporarily start via induction. If the steering wheel is locked, turn it left/right while pressing the brake and start button. Remember to ensure the gear is in P position and press the brake when starting. If the remote key shows no response, you'll need to replace the CR2032 coin battery - it's DIY replaceable. If that doesn't work, pop the hood to check for oxidized or loose battery terminals, and tighten them with a wrench. If these basic checks don't solve it, better visit a shop to inspect the starter module or wiring issues. Sometimes this car's over-sensitive anti-theft system acts up - I recall someone on the forum mentioned waiting 10 minutes after locking before retrying would work.
