What to Do When the Window Regulator is Broken?

Insert chopsticks wrapped with a towel into the glass guide channel. Move them up and down forcefully to clean the channel, and continuously wipe away the dirt cleaned off with the towel. Turn on the ignition switch, hold the switch up and keep it pressed. After the glass reaches the top, continue holding for more than 3 seconds to complete the initialization, and the window will restore its original function.
Last time my power window malfunctioned, and I was really anxious because I often need to open the window for ventilation. At first, I thought the switch was broken, but after trying several times, there was no response. Then I noticed the glass was stuck halfway. I quickly checked the fuse to see if it was blown. If the fuse was fine, it might be a motor failure or rust on the window track. It's recommended not to force the glass down to avoid damaging the parts. You can gently shake the inner side of the door to see if it can be manually lowered. If that doesn’t work, it’s best to go to a repair shop immediately to prevent rain or dust from getting inside. I went to the 4S shop myself, and they replaced the motor to fix it. It’s good to regularly clean the window gaps to prevent dust buildup, which helps the window move more smoothly.
