What to Do When the GAC GS8 Key Fob Sensing Fails?

Remote key fob sensing failure is usually caused by a nearly depleted battery. Simply pry open the key fob along the middle seam and replace it with a new key battery. Check if there are any wireless signal interferences around the car. If present, remove the relevant wireless signal objects to resume normal keyless start. If the key battery has sufficient power and there is no magnetic signal interference, but the car still cannot sense the key for starting, consider internal wiring faults in the key. The key internals generally consist of a chip. If the chip malfunctions, it can also prevent the car from sensing the key. In such cases, prompt repair is necessary.
