Peel off the plastic cover of the interior rearview mirror, and you will see the floating nut inside. Hold the rearview mirror rod with one hand. Then use the other hand to tighten the nut with a wrench. Generally, the rearview mirror uses a reverse thread, so when tightening with a wrench, apply force from the bottom upwards in the opposite direction to tighten it.

What Causes Vehicle Body Shaking at High Speeds?

Vehicle body shaking at high speeds is caused by: 1. Unbalanced wheels: Wheel imbalance is a common issue in many vehicles. During manufacturing, it's impossible to ensure perfect mass distribution in tires and rims. Worn tires can cause rotational imbalance, leading to body shaking; 2. Excessive steering gear clearance: Over time, wear between rack and pinion gears creates play, resulting in body vibration; 3. Loose suspension components: Suspension parts are connected via ball joints and rubber bushings, but as these wear out, components become loose, making the suspension sloppy and causing body shaking during driving.
