What to Do When the Booster Pump Pressure is Too High?

The pressure of the booster pump can be reduced by adjusting it. Below are specific methods for reducing the pressure of different types of booster pumps: 1. Fully Automatic: Frequency conversion automatic booster pumps are simple to operate. You only need to adjust the target pressure value in the pressure settings on the control panel. The adjustment methods vary slightly among different manufacturers. If it is an ordinary differential pressure and flow automatic booster pump, most of them cannot be adjusted. However, you can indirectly adjust the pressure by reducing the flow rate through partially closing the inlet and outlet valves. After this adjustment, the pressure will drop significantly when the water usage increases slightly. Alternatively, you can install a pressure reducing valve at the outlet to adjust the pressure. 2. Non-Automatic: If valves are installed at the inlet and outlet, you can appropriately reduce the inlet and outlet water flow by partially closing the valves, thereby indirectly lowering the head. As long as the water usage increases, the pressure will drop. If a pressure reducing valve is installed at the outlet, you only need to adjust it to the desired pressure by observing the gauge.
