What to Do When Some Parts of the Car Rust?

After grinding the rust spots, you can see that the rust has corroded the steel plate and created pits. If left untreated, the corrosion will become irreparable. First, apply car wax to see if it can remove the rust; if not, try polishing, which can basically eliminate it. Use a brush to apply rust remover to the rusted area. You will notice the yellow rust spots reacting and turning black, which can then be wiped off.
Seeing rust on the car immediately reminded me of my last experience dealing with it. First, I cleaned the rusty area thoroughly and carefully sanded off the surface rust with sandpaper, paying special attention to completely removing rust from exposed metal parts. Then, I applied an anti-rust primer, let it dry, and followed up with matching topcoat paint—otherwise, the rust would keep coming back. After washing the car, I always make sure to dry areas prone to water accumulation, like door frames and the undercarriage, and I try to park indoors or under a carport whenever possible. I also regularly check the wheel arches and lower edges of the doors, addressing minor scratches promptly, as repairing rusted-through metal components is much more costly and troublesome.
