What to Do When Mice Enter the Engine Compartment?
1 Answers
Tap the engine compartment with your hands or strike the ground with a stick to create noise and strong vibrations, which can scare away the mice. Thoroughly clean the entire area from the inside out, including the engine, radiator, battery, etc., mainly to eliminate the scent of mice and prevent them from being attracted again. Use deterrents like camphor or stink bombs, hanging them in empty spaces within the engine compartment. Be careful not to place them near high-temperature components to prevent melting. If mouse droppings or urine are found, clean the engine immediately. If wires or hoses are chewed, repair them promptly.
