What to Do When a Sagitar Car Runs Out of Battery?

Sagitar car battery is dead, the vehicle can only be started by replacing the battery, charging the battery, or jump-starting it with another vehicle. Below are the methods for charging a car battery: 1. Prepare a set of jumper cables, which can be purchased at most auto parts stores. 2. Connect one end of the cable clamp to the positive terminal of the dead battery, and the other end to the positive terminal of the rescue vehicle's battery. (Do not reverse this order to prevent a short circuit.) 3. Use another cable to connect one end to the negative terminal of the rescue vehicle's battery and the other end to a metal part of the engine in the dead car (i.e., grounding). 4. After connecting the jumper cables, start the engine of the rescue vehicle and slightly increase the engine speed. After about 5 minutes, the emergency charging for the dead car will be completed. 5. Once charging is finished, remove the jumper cables in the reverse order of how they were connected.
Last time my Sagitar suddenly ran out of battery, which really threw me into a panic. Thinking back carefully, I probably forgot to turn off the reading light, and after not using the car for a few days, it completely drained the battery. I quickly borrowed a neighbor's car to jump-start mine. Remember to connect the cables carefully: the red clamp goes to the positive terminal of my car's battery, and the black clamp connects to the negative terminal of the other car's battery—never reverse them. After starting, I let the engine idle for over 20 minutes. When I took it to the repair shop for a voltage test, it showed only 10 volts, indicating severe battery aging, so I replaced it with a new one. I usually make it a habit to check the battery terminals for corrosion every six months. A simple cleaning can extend its lifespan and avoid the embarrassment of breaking down on the road.
