What to Do When a Rusty Screw Breaks Off?

Weld an iron bar or flat iron onto the broken screw using an electric welder. The cross-section of the flat iron should be determined by the diameter of the screw. Once the flat iron is securely welded, quickly drip some engine oil onto the welded area to allow the oil to soak into the nut. After cooling, use a small hammer to tap the other end of the flat iron back and forth horizontally. Once the screw loosens, rotate the flat iron to unscrew the broken screw.
