What to Do When a Car Tire Gets Punctured?

When a tire blowout occurs, firmly grip the steering wheel with both hands to maintain a straight line as much as possible, then slow down. Avoid slamming on the brakes abruptly, allowing the vehicle to come to a gradual stop by the roadside. Turn on the hazard warning lights (double flashers). Place a warning triangle at least 150 meters behind the vehicle. Use a socket wrench to loosen the tire bolts. Lift the car with a jack at the chassis, making sure to position it at the marked jacking point. If there isn't one, place it on the chassis beam. Once the vehicle is securely lifted, raise the tire off the ground, remove the bolts with tools, and take off the damaged tire. Install the spare tire, tighten the bolts as much as possible, then lower the jack and remove it. Use the socket wrench to fully tighten the bolts, pack up the tools, and you're ready to drive.
