What to Do When a BYD Car Won't Start Due to Dead Battery?

The fuel filter and fuel pump screen are clogged. Severe carbon buildup or erosion on the spark plugs, causing engine carbon deposits. Clean the engine carbon deposits promptly. During startup, the fuel pump fails to supply fuel in time, resulting in insufficient fresh air or fuel supply. The car battery is severely depleted or damaged.
The last time I encountered this situation was in winter when my BYD was parked outdoors overnight and completely dead in the morning, unable to start. The most practical solution in such cases is to ask a friend for a jump-start. All you need is another vehicle and jumper cables—connect positive to positive and negative to negative, and you're good to go. If no one is available to help, you can call your insurance company's roadside assistance or the 4S store service hotline. By the way, many BYD models now come with a mobile power station function—you can open the engine hood's starting power interface and connect a power bank for emergency starting. Afterward, remember to check the battery's lifespan and avoid running the air conditioning or headlights for more than 10 minutes after turning off the engine. If frequent power loss occurs, you might need to replace the battery or check the alternator belt's tension.
