What to Do If You're Afraid to Drive Alone After Getting Your License?

You need to boost your own confidence and tell yourself that as long as you follow traffic rules and drive safely, you can handle this drive. Fasten your seatbelt, release the handbrake, and start the car slowly.
When I first got my driver's license, I was also very nervous and always felt tremendous pressure driving alone. Later, I came up with a trick: start practicing in the small neighborhood near my home, driving a few laps around the area every evening when there were fewer cars to get familiar with the steering wheel and brake feel. After a week, I became a bit braver and dared to drive out of the neighborhood to the nearby supermarket, a journey of just ten minutes, avoiding peak hours. I also put up a 'new driver' sticker so others would understand and give me more space. The key is to give yourself more encouragement, like celebrating a little every time you successfully return. Remember, safety comes first—no phones or distractions. Gradually, as you get used to that sense of control, you'll find driving isn't so scary after all. Now I can drive anywhere, and I believe you can take it step by step too.
