What to Do If There Are Water Marks on the Front Windshield Film?

If some water marks appear within one or two days after installation, they will improve over time, and exposing them to sunlight during this period can help. This situation is usually caused by incomplete water removal during the film installation process. You can return to the film installation shop to have the excess water scraped off again.
It's quite common to see water streaks right after window tinting. When I encounter this situation, I usually wait patiently for a few days as the moisture will gradually evaporate on its own - no need to worry too much. In summer heat or high humidity conditions, it might take about a week to fully dry. If you can't wait, you can use a professional squeegee to gently push out bubbles with even pressure - avoid using too much force to prevent scratching the glass. If the water streaks are too dense and affect driving visibility, I recommend driving back to the installation shop for professional rework since they have proper equipment to avoid secondary damage. Also, try not to park in direct sunlight for extended periods as this can slow down tint deterioration and extend its lifespan. The key is to allow sufficient time for the adhesive to cure naturally - avoid DIY fixes that might create more problems.
