What to Do If the Windshield Washer Fluid of Geely Boyue Doesn't Spray High Enough?

If the windshield washer fluid of Geely Boyue doesn't spray high enough, you can adjust it by inserting into the nozzle. Windshield Has Oil Film: When the vehicle is exposed to the natural environment, the tiny pores on the glass will enlarge, and over time, they will absorb exhaust fumes and oil mist from the air, forming an oil film. It's difficult to remove the oil film solely by relying on the wiper and washer fluid; an oil film cleaner must be used to eliminate it. Wiper Arm Deformation: The motor drives the deceleration mechanism to rotate, which in turn moves the wiper arm and wiper blade left and right to clean the windshield. If the wiper arm is deformed, causing the wiper blade to fail to adhere tightly to the windshield, it won't be able to remove dirt. In this case, a new wiper should be replaced.
When I first drove the Geely Boyue, I also encountered the issue of the windshield washer fluid not spraying high enough. It was mostly due to clogged nozzles or a problem with the hose. At that time, I checked the nozzle holes and found them blocked by accumulated dust. Carefully unclogging them with a fine needle solved the issue. Alternatively, check if the washer fluid in the reservoir is nearly empty or too concentrated, which can affect the spraying effect. If that doesn’t work, the water pump might be faulty—listen to the engine sound to determine if the motor is running normally. Aging or kinked hoses are also common; try adjusting them slightly. Remember to use purified water mixed with washer fluid to avoid impurity buildup and clean the nozzles every few months. Ignoring this issue can obstruct visibility, especially during rainy driving conditions. Safety comes first—if you can handle it yourself, there’s no need to spend unnecessary money.
