What to Do If the Trunk of Geely Boyue Cannot Be Opened?

The trunk can be opened using the unlock button for the luggage compartment cover located inside the driver's side door. Press and hold the trunk button on the remote key until the luggage compartment cover opens automatically. Pull up the button on the trunk lid to open the luggage compartment.
A few days ago, my Boyue's trunk also got stuck, which really stressed me out at the time. I checked the remote key and found the battery might be dead. After replacing it, things improved significantly. If that doesn't work, try inserting the key directly into the trunk lock cylinder and turning it, or check if any luggage is blocking the latch. Electronic system issues are quite common, such as loose wiring or a blown fuse. You can open the small tool compartment on the driver's side to find a spare fuse for inspection. Also, there's usually an emergency release cord inside the trunk—pulling it can manually unlock the trunk, which is very handy in emergencies. If you still can't fix it, it's best to visit a repair shop quickly and have a technician scan for fault codes with diagnostic tools to prevent wiring issues from escalating.
