What to Do If the Driver's License Review Has Expired?

Driver's license review can still be conducted even if it has expired, but the following regulations must be noted: 1. The renewal period for the driver's license must not exceed one year (driving during the overdue period is considered unlicensed driving). Within one year, the renewal can be processed with normal procedures; 2. If the renewal is not completed within one year, the driver's license will be revoked. For a revoked driver's license, you can apply to take the subject one exam (traffic rules test) at the vehicle management office within two years. Upon passing, the driver's license can be restored; 3. If the period exceeds three years, the vehicle management office will destroy the driver's license records, and you will need to reapply for a driver's license. The materials required for driver's license review are as follows: 1. Fill out and submit the motor vehicle driver's license application form as required during the annual review; 2. Provide the original driver's license; 3. Provide the original and a copy of the driver's ID card; 4. Provide the driver's photo as required; 5. Provide proof of the driver's physical condition: a physical condition certificate issued by a county-level or above hospital, or a physical condition certificate issued by the armed police force or military.
