What to Do If the Car Paint Isn't Repaired and Rusts?

If the rust is not very severe, you can first use very fine sandpaper dipped in water to gently remove the rust spots, wipe it completely clean, and then apply a layer of primer. You can also buy a touch-up paint pen in advance. After the applied primer has dried, use sandpaper to smooth it out, and then use the touch-up paint pen for color treatment. Keep a tube of ordinary toothpaste in the car. If you notice small new scratches, just apply a little bit of toothpaste on them.
