What to Do If It Rains After Window Tinting?

If it rains after window tinting, simply avoid opening the windows to prevent the inner side of the tint film from getting wet. The tint film is like a raincoat; getting the outer surface wet is not a big issue as long as the inner side remains dry. Even if the outer layer gets wet from rain, do not wash the car immediately. Car wash workers might use towels that could scratch the paint, causing the tint film to expand. It's best to wait at least one month after tinting before washing the car. Tinting is a delicate job that requires a high-standard environment. The film is sensitive to dust, which can cause debris, bubbles, and scratches between the glass and the film. Therefore, the workshop where the tinting is done should be closed to prevent dust and other debris from entering during the process.

Right after getting my car windows tinted, I was particularly afraid of rainy days because water seeping under the film could cause bubbles and affect the results. On rainy days, I prioritize parking my car in a garage or under a shelter to avoid water exposure. If rain suddenly comes and I need to find a temporary parking spot, I use a dry cloth to gently wipe the film's surface to prevent water accumulation. The first few days after tinting are critical—it's best to avoid washing the car or prolonged exposure to rain. If water does get in, don't scrape it randomly; let it dry naturally for a few days or return to the tinting shop for professional handling. For daily parking, choose indoor spots to protect the film from premature aging. If the film shows persistent blurry marks, don't delay—get it professionally checked to maintain your car's aesthetics and safety.

Driving at a five-way intersection follows the same principles as general driving. Simply follow the actual road signs and markings, and you'll be fine. Sometimes pedestrians may not strictly adhere to crossing at designated zebra crossings. Always be cautious and yield in no-entry zones, slowing down to observe traffic signals before proceeding. Avoid cutting in line or abruptly changing across multiple lanes.

How to align with wheel tracks while sitting in the car

Extend your left hand and press it firmly against the middle-left section of the steering wheel's outer rim. When viewed from this position, if your left arm overlaps with the marking line ahead, it indicates proper alignment with the wheel tracks. Place your extended right hand at the middle-right section of the steering wheel's outer rim. The intersection line between your right arm and the road surface ahead corresponds to the wheel track alignment.
