First, use a cloth to wipe up the flowing liquid oil, then pour dish soap into hot water. Use a cloth dipped in the solution to wipe the area, repeating several times until it is clean. Alternatively, use a cloth dipped in alcohol to continue scrubbing.

Last time I accidentally spilled cooking oil in my car, it was a real mess. I immediately stopped the car and turned off the engine, then used kitchen paper or a dry towel to absorb the surface oil stains, focusing on the seats and carpet. Never rinse with water, as mixing oil and water makes it harder to clean. Later, I used dish soap mixed with warm water to scrub repeatedly, then dried it with a dry cloth. Remember to open the windows and doors for ventilation, otherwise, the greasy smell can linger for days. If the oil seeps into the seams of leather seats, it's best to take it to a professional car detailing shop for steam cleaning, as DIY attempts may leave oil stains.
