For the Subject 4 exam, you only need to bring your ID card; no other items are required. The Subject 4 exam consists of 50 questions, presented in the form of case studies, images, animations, etc., with a full score of 100 and a passing score of 90. Subject 4, also known as the Subject 4 theory test or driver theory test, is part of the motor vehicle driver's license assessment. After the implementation of the Ministry of Public Security's Order No. 123, the Subject 3 exam was divided into two parts: the road test and an additional safety and civility knowledge test, commonly referred to as "Subject 4," which assesses "driving ethics." Since this test is conducted after Subject 3, it is commonly called the Subject 4 exam, although officially, there is no such term as Subject 4. If you fail Subject 4, you do not need to retake the previously passed subjects (Subject 1, Subject 2, Subject 3). You can schedule a retake on your own, and no retake fee is required. There are no scheduling restrictions, but the driving skills test permit is valid for three years. If the applicant fails to complete the exams within this period, the passed subject scores will become invalid.

When I took the Subject 4 exam, I was particularly excited. As a novice candidate, the first thing to bring is the original ID card—without it, you can't even enter the test center. The exam admission ticket is also crucial; you can download and print a copy in advance from the traffic management app and carry it in your bag. Storing an electronic version on your phone is also good, but some test centers have poor signals, so a paper copy is safer. On the exam day, it's advisable to arrive half an hour early and check the location to avoid being late. Your phone must be set to silent or turned off to prevent ringtones from disrupting the exam atmosphere. Personally, I also like to bring a pen and a bottle of water—though not mandatory, they come in handy when signing forms or staying alert. In terms of content, Subject 4 mostly tests safety rules, so reviewing the question bank thoroughly is sufficient. Additionally, wear comfortable clothes as the test center might have air conditioning; getting enough sleep ensures good mental clarity, which affects performance. If you forget your ID, bring a backup document like a driver's license learning certificate just in case.

What are the reasons for the one-button start key not responding?

The reasons for the one-button start key not responding are: 1. The key fob battery is dead or the car battery is dead; 2. The gear is not in the P position, as some car models cannot start if the gear is not in P; 3. The brake pedal was not pressed when starting; 4. There is a malfunction in the car's starting system. The method to use the one-button start is: 1. Open the car door and sit in the driver's seat; 2. Press the brake pedal; 3. Press the start button, and the one-button start is completed. The working principle of the one-button start: It uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, automatically locking and unlocking the doors through the chip in the smart key. When the car owner approaches the vehicle, the car automatically recognizes the owner's identity, the door locks will open automatically, and the anti-theft system will be deactivated, eliminating the need for a physical key.

What is the reason for a clunking sound when stepping on the brake?

The reasons for a clunking sound when stepping on the brake are: 1. There are foreign objects or hard spots on the brake pads; 2. Issues with the brake vacuum booster pump; 3. Blockage in the booster pipe due to foreign objects. The maintenance methods for brakes include: 1. High-temperature protection to prevent corrosion of the brake system and avoid brake pads seizing due to high temperatures; 2. Cleaning oil stains from brake discs and drums to ensure good heat dissipation; 3. Regularly replacing brake fluid; 4. Periodically checking the thickness of brake pads or shoes. The function of brakes is to reduce speed or bring the vehicle to a stop. Their working principle involves converting the kinetic energy of the moving vehicle into heat energy through friction between the brake pads and drums, as well as between the tires and the ground, thereby slowing down or stopping the car.

How Long Do New Brake Pads Need to Break In?

New brake pads require a break-in period of 200 kilometers. The method for replacing brake pads is as follows: 1. Open the engine compartment to check the brake fluid level to prevent overflow during replacement; 2. Remove the wheel where the brake is located; 3. Remove the bolts of the brake caliper and take out the brake pads; 4. Install the new brake pads, tighten the guide bolts, and complete the replacement. The working principle of brake pads is to use the friction between the brake pads and the brake drum, as well as between the tires and the ground, to convert the kinetic energy of the moving vehicle into heat energy through friction, thereby stopping the vehicle. The materials of brake pads are: 1. Asbestos, cellulose, sintered glass; 2. Carbon fiber friction material; 3. Powder metallurgy friction material; 4. Semi-metallic friction material.

How to Eliminate the Tire Pressure Warning Light?

To eliminate the tire pressure warning light, follow these steps: 1. Check and ensure that the tire pressure is normal. If there are any issues, adjust it to the standard pressure, then drive a few kilometers. The vehicle's computer will automatically reset the warning light. 2. If the tire pressure is confirmed to be normal, visit a car service center to inspect the tire pressure sensors and clear any fault codes. The purpose of the tire pressure monitoring system is to automatically and continuously monitor the tire pressure while driving, alerting the driver to any leaks or low pressure to ensure driving safety. During driving, tire pressure monitoring is crucial. When the tire pressure is too high, it reduces the contact area between the tire and the ground, increasing the pressure on the tire and affecting its grip.

What Causes a Car's Turn Signal to Flash Faster Than Normal?

There are several reasons why a car's turn signal may flash faster than normal: 1. A burnt-out turn signal bulb; 2. Poor contact in the turn signal circuit; 3. Inconsistent bulb power or model; 4. Faulty bulb control relay. How to use turn signals: 1. Push the turn signal lever to the left to activate the right turn signal; 2. Push the turn signal lever to the right to activate the left turn signal; 3. Lift the turn signal lever upwards to make the hazard lights flash. Functions of turn signals: 1. To indicate the intended turning direction to pedestrians or other vehicles; 2. To show overtaking or lane changing direction; 3. When both left and right turn signals flash simultaneously, it indicates an emergency situation to alert other vehicles.
