FAW Senya R7 uses Linglong tires. The Senya R7 is a compact SUV launched by FAW Jilin. In terms of body dimensions, its length, width, and height are 4305mm, 1780mm, and 1655mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2600mm. In terms of power, the Senya R7 is equipped with 1.6L and 1.5T engines, with maximum power outputs of 85kw and 110kw respectively, and peak torques of 155nm and 220nm. Externally, it features a large-mouth grille design paired with slender headlight clusters on both sides, along with L-shaped fog light designs on the lower bumper, which enhances the vehicle's modern appeal. Inside, the FAW Senya R7 has a more rational overall layout, with a floating central control screen, trapezoidal air vents, and a rotary knob-style air conditioning control panel arranged from top to bottom, complemented by chrome trim for detailed accents.

The FAW Senya R7 typically comes with Kumho SOLUS HS63 tires in the size 195/65 R15. I find this set of tires quite handy for daily driving, especially suitable for city roads and fuel-efficient driving. The factory-fitted tires provide solid grip and don't slip after rain, though they can be a bit noisy at highway speeds, requiring you to turn up the radio volume to compensate. After driving 30,000 to 40,000 kilometers, the tread remains clear, with a wear resistance index above 300, making them ideal for commuters like me. When replacing, it's best to stick to the original specifications—don't compromise safety by opting for cheap, low-quality tires. Regularly check the tire pressure, keeping it between 2.2 and 2.5 bar, which not only saves fuel and prevents blowouts but also extends tire life by at least a year.

After driving the Senia R7 for over a year, the tires are mainly Kumho or Maxxis, commonly sized at 205/55 R16, which come as factory-fitted all-season tires. They feel grippy on highways with short braking distances, but road noise is noticeable on gravel roads, requiring sound insulation from the car to compensate. Tires are crucial for safety—replace them once they wear down to the tread wear indicators and avoid overuse. Mine lasted 50,000 km before replacement. Regularly check tire pressure and adjust when cold to prevent uneven wear. When replacing, consider Michelin or Goodyear in the same size for quieter performance—worth the higher cost. With proper maintenance, tires can last five years, ensuring hassle-free driving.

The FAW Senya R7 comes with standard Kumho tires in size 195/65 R15, featuring a tread pattern optimized for urban driving with low rolling resistance for fuel efficiency. The speed rating is T, and the maximum load capacity is 91. These tires are durable, showing even wear after 30,000 kilometers, with decent noise control. They can handle icy winter roads but require reduced speed to prevent slipping. Regular rotation extends their lifespan, and the optimal tire pressure is set at 2.3 bar. The original equipment offers good value for money, and replacements are recommended with the same specification and brand.
