Hazards of fatigued driving: Prolonged driving of a motor vehicle can cause the driver to experience blurred vision, lack of concentration, slow reaction times, reduced judgment ability, and increased operational errors, which may lead to traffic accidents. Penalties for fatigued driving: Driving medium or large-sized passenger vehicles or vehicles transporting hazardous materials will result in a fine of 200 yuan and 12 penalty points. Driving non-medium or large-sized passenger vehicles or vehicles transporting hazardous materials will result in a fine of 200 yuan and 6 penalty points. If a major traffic accident occurs due to fatigued driving, the driver will bear corresponding criminal liability.
