The number of new energy vehicles in use has increased more than ninefold in five years. Due to China's adherence to the pure electric drive strategy, pure electric vehicles account for a large proportion of the total number of vehicles in use. In 2020, the number of pure electric vehicles in use reached 4 million, accounting for more than 80% of the total.
