What should you do when encountering an excessively narrow road width at a passing point while driving?

When encountering a road that is too narrow, first press the clutch and gently apply the brakes to reduce the car's speed. Shift to a lower gear and drive at a low speed. Only by maintaining a slow speed can you have sufficient time to make reasonable reactions. Then, steer towards the wider part of the road.
The other day I encountered this kind of narrow road meeting situation on a small path in my hometown. At that time, there were ditches on both sides - really nerve-wracking. I immediately reduced my speed, found a relatively wider spot in advance to pull over, and turned on my hazard lights to alert the other driver. If the other party yielded first, I would slowly inch forward while keeping my eyes glued to the rearview mirror to monitor the clearance. If it really couldn't pass, I'd rather reverse to a fork in the road - safety comes first. Oh, and remember to turn off high beams - dazzling the other driver is even more dangerous. Nowadays whenever I drive on rural roads, I check navigation in advance to avoid those chicken-intestine narrow paths.
