What should I pay attention to when going to the driving school for the first time?

Here are some precautions for beginners when practicing driving: 1. Before turning into a narrow gate, first visually assess whether you can enter. Do not turn too close to obstacles near the gate, and try to minimize the turning angle. 2. To "embed" the car in the middle of a row of parked cars, use the reverse parking method. Use the rearview mirror to align the midline of the front vehicle's head as a reference. When half of the rear wheel passes this line, start turning the steering wheel to reverse. Once the vehicle is two-thirds in, straighten the steering wheel. 3. Be decisive and firm when overtaking or changing lanes. Stay as close as possible to the vehicle in front, especially on two-way lanes, to save time. When changing lanes, carefully observe the traffic in the adjacent lane through the rearview mirror, assessing both distance and the speed of the following vehicle. Only change lanes when it is safe; otherwise, the lane-changing vehicle will be fully responsible in case of a collision. 4. The key to shifting gears is learning to listen to the engine sound. When the speed is high but the gear is low (dragging), the engine will make a buzzing noise. Conversely, when the speed is low but the gear is high, the sound will be unusually loud, and the car body may shake. Generally, after starting, shift to 2nd gear once the car is moving, and shift to 3rd gear at around 40 mph.
