Precautions for cleaning the throttle body are as follows: 1. Use a dedicated cleaner for electronic throttle bodies. If a dedicated cleaner is not available and a carburetor cleaner is used, first spray the cleaner onto a clean soft cloth, then repeatedly wipe with the cloth to remove carbon deposits or sludge. 2. After cleaning, perform the electronic throttle's self-learning procedure. The method for cleaning the throttle body is as follows: 1. Remove the car key, open the hood, and locate the engine's throttle. 2. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the air filter and intake pipe, unplug the electrical socket on the throttle, then use a hex screwdriver to unscrew the three hex screws on the throttle and remove the throttle body. 3. Spray cleaner onto the throttle body, and the dirt will gradually dissolve. At this point, you can wipe it with a tissue, spray cleaner again, and the throttle will become clean. After this, there is no need to wipe with a tissue again; let the residual cleaner remain on it.
