According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses", the road driving skills and safety civilized driving common sense test of Subject 4 requires a score of 90 points to pass. Each wrong answer deducts 2 points, and only 5 mistakes are allowed. More than that means failure, with a full score of 100 points. Questions 1-10 are true/false questions; questions 11-40 are single-choice questions; questions 41-50 are multiple-choice questions. The test question types include picture analysis, animation cases, text descriptions, etc. Subject 4, also known as the Subject 4 theory test or driver theory test, is part of the motor vehicle driver's license assessment. After the implementation of the Ministry of Public Security's Order No. 123, the Subject 3 test was divided into two parts: in addition to the road test, a safety and civilized common sense test was added. Subject 4 is the common name for the Subject 3 safety civilized driving common sense test, not a separate subject. Because this test is conducted after Subject 3, it is commonly referred to as the Subject 4 test. In official terms, there is no Subject 4. The safety civilized driving common sense test is conducted after Subject 3. The scope of Subject 4 test questions includes: driving common sense under adverse weather and complex road conditions; identification of common traffic signs, markings, and gestures; traffic accident rescue and common hazardous material handling knowledge; comprehensive judgment of illegal behaviors and case analysis; common sense of avoiding danger in emergencies; safe driving common sense; driving professional ethics and civilized driving common sense. According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses", there is no limit to the number of attempts for Subjects 1 and 4. If the first test of the day is not passed, an on-site retake is allowed once. If it is still not passed, a new appointment is required, and no retake fee is charged. However, it should be noted that the validity period of the driving skills test permit is three years. If the applicant does not complete the test within the validity period, the scores of the passed subjects will be invalidated. Subject 4 test precautions: Test time: The test time is 45 minutes. If 12 points (6 questions) are deducted during the answering process, the test will be terminated. Number of questions: According to the type of driver's license being tested, 50 questions are randomly selected from the corresponding Subject 4 test question bank in proportion. For car-type licenses, questions are selected from 800, and for large vehicle-type licenses, from 1023, with each question worth 2 points. Test question types: The test question types include single-choice questions (including true/false questions) and multiple-choice questions. The first 45 questions are single-choice, and the last 5 are multiple-choice. The test questions include animation questions, picture questions, scenario recognition questions, and text description questions. Retake precautions: If Subject 4 is not passed, only Subject 4 needs to be retaken. The retake can be scheduled by the driving school or on your own, with no limit to the number of retakes. If not passed, you can retake it continuously. No retake fee is required for Subject 4 retakes. There are 4 subjects in the driver's license test, namely Subject 1, Subject 2, Subject 3, and Subject 4. Subject 1 refers to the road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge test; Subject 2 refers to the field driving skills test; Subject 3 refers to the road driving skills test, and Subject 4 is the safety civilized driving common sense test.

I've been driving for over a decade and often help beginners with exam questions. Subject 4 is the core part of the driving theory test, with a passing score of 90 out of 100. This standard isn't arbitrary—it's mainly to ensure every driver truly understands traffic rules and safety awareness. If you fail, you only get one retake opportunity. I've seen many friends lose points due to carelessness, like getting multiple-choice questions wrong which deducts more points. I recommend practicing mock questions daily for a month in advance, especially focusing on traffic police gestures and hazardous scenario questions—they directly impact driving safety. Don't underestimate them, as accumulated mistakes can easily drop you below the passing line. Regularly check official platforms for real exam questions. Safe driving starts with the basics. Although the passing threshold is high, it's reasonable.

When I was preparing for Subject 4 of the driving test, I stayed up late practicing questions until I was exhausted, but knowing that 90 points were required to pass gave me some confidence. With a full score of 100, failing 10 questions would mean not passing, so I had to focus on key content like sign recognition and emergency handling. I advise beginners not to just memorize blindly—use mobile apps to simulate real test questions and immediately check the reasons for any mistakes. The 90-point requirement makes the exam more stringent, which is a good thing, because no one can afford the consequences of an accident on the road. Now, I still remind my younger cousin not to panic during the test—keeping mistakes under 10 means a sure pass. Just practice more, and don’t stress too much.

What does it mean when a Volkswagen vehicle indicates the transmission is in emergency mode?

Transmission in emergency mode but still drivable indicates a fault in the vehicle's transmission. Below is an introduction to Volkswagen's transmission emergency mode warning: 1. Cause: It may be due to a malfunction in the transmission valve body, but the transmission can still output power. However, the transmission might remain stuck in one gear without shifting automatically, significantly affecting the vehicle's performance and fuel consumption. 2. Impact: This indicates a transmission fault, and the system has entered an emergency backup operation mode. How to Drive an Automatic Transmission Car on Uphill and Downhill Roads?

When operating on uphill and downhill roads, it is crucial to avoid the misconception that simply stepping on the brake can slow down the car at any time. Frequent use of the brake can cause the braking system to overheat, leading to issues such as fuel vaporization in the pipelines due to excessive temperature, resulting in engine stalling or poor braking performance. When going downhill, always rely primarily on engine braking and use the foot brake as a supplementary method for deceleration. Below are the precautions for driving downhill: 1. Never coast downhill in neutral gear. Always engage an appropriate gear to utilize the engine's resistance effect to reduce the vehicle's coasting speed. 2. Reduce speed before entering a downhill slope to ensure the vehicle proceeds at a slow pace. 3. If there is an uphill slope after the downhill, prepare for the ascent as you approach the bottom of the slope by releasing the brake pedal in time and shifting to a higher gear when appropriate. 4. Avoid sudden steering wheel movements on downhill slopes, as the high inertia and speed combined with improper steering can easily cause the vehicle to overturn. 5. Shift to an appropriate gear before starting the descent, typically second or third gear. Never shift gears after entering the downhill section. 6. Test the braking performance before descending. If there are any issues, resolve them before proceeding. Use the brake cautiously on downhill roads. 7. Maintain a distance of at least 50 meters from the vehicle ahead. If the slope is too long and the vehicle's inertia is significant, increase the distance appropriately.
