What Problems Might Occur After Replacing the Rear Windshield?

If the windshield is installed properly, there should be no issues. However, if the installation is not done correctly, the sealant on both sides of the windshield may not adhere tightly to the glass. During high-speed driving, wind may enter through the gaps between the windshield and the car body, leading to increased noise inside the vehicle. The windshield is bonded to the car body using sealant. Depending on the quality of the sealant and seasonal factors, it usually takes one to three days to fully dry. Therefore, to prevent wind or water leakage, avoid washing the car within the first three days after installation. After three days, you can remove the tape that secures the windshield in place. After replacing the windshield, avoid opening the windows for the first three days of driving. Drive smoothly, avoid sudden braking and rapid acceleration, and refrain from driving at high speeds. Try to avoid routes with excessive bumps to prevent the windshield from shifting. Do not insert parking permits or other cards into the gap between the front windshield and the dashboard.
