What platform is the Lavida based on?

The Lavida is based on the Volkswagen PQ34 platform, which was originally used for the Bora Classic. Subsequently, Shanghai Volkswagen's Chinese engineers modified the interior, exterior, and enlarged the body to create the so-called Lavida. The most significant feature of this platform is the standardization of a large number of automotive components, which can be shared across different brands and vehicle classes. The Lavida measures 4670 mm in length, 1806 mm in width, and 1474 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2668 mm. It is equipped with two engine options: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine.
