C1 driver's license new regulations are as follows: 1. Accompanied by an experienced driver: During the probationary period, driving on the highway requires a veteran driver in the passenger seat, otherwise, highway driving is not allowed. If 12 points are not deducted during the probationary period, the probationary period is passed in the second year. If 12 points are deducted during the probationary period, the driving qualification will be revoked. 2. Renewal after expiration: No annual review is required; renewal can be done after the expiration date. Additionally, if no more than 12 points are deducted each year within the 6-year validity period, the renewal after expiration will extend the validity to 10 years. If no more than 12 points are deducted each year within the 10-year period, the next renewal will be valid for life. 3. License expired for less than 12 months: If the license has expired for less than 12 months, it can be renewed at the vehicle management office. If it exceeds 12 months, retaking the subject one and subject three tests is required. If it exceeds three years, re-registration is necessary.
I just passed my C1 driver's license test last year, and the new regulations have indeed added quite a few elements to make the exam more comprehensive. There's a new narrow-road U-turn test, requiring quick turns in small alleys without touching the boundary lines; a parking-for-toll-card test simulating highway toll scenarios, where you must stop precisely at the designated spot; a simulated rainy, foggy, and slippery road driving test to control the car without skidding in wet conditions; and a tunnel driving test to learn how to use lights and ventilation. These might sound like a lot, but they help adapt to real road conditions and prevent accidents for new drivers. During my preparation, I practiced a lot on simulators to pass, so I suggest everyone take it seriously. The new rules emphasize safety over speed.
