In snowy weather, you should use low beam headlights, clearance lights, and rear position lights. According to regulations: during nighttime when streetlights are on, if driving in conditions of low visibility such as fog, rain, snow, dust, or ice, and if the snow is particularly heavy, it is necessary to turn on fog lights and clearance lights. These lights have strong penetration and can cut through thick fog in heavy fog conditions, allowing drivers to see the road ahead clearly. Therefore, fog lights should only be turned on when visibility is extremely low. Regarding the regulations on light usage: when visibility is between 200m and 500m, you must turn on low beam headlights, width indicator lights, and tail lights, with a speed not exceeding 80km/h, and maintain a distance of more than 150m from the vehicle in front in the same lane; when visibility is between 100m and 200m, you must turn on fog lights, low beam headlights, width indicator lights, and tail lights, with a speed not exceeding 60km/h, and maintain a distance of more than 100m from the vehicle in front; when visibility is between 50m and 100m, turn on all lights, low beam headlights, width indicator lights, and tail lights, with a speed not exceeding 40km/h, and maintain a distance of more than 50m from the vehicle in front.
