What light comes on when the car runs out of fuel?

When the fuel warning light illuminates, it indicates low fuel level. More extended information is as follows: Fuel indicator light illumination: Almost every vehicle has this indicator light. Some display yellow, some red, and others show yellow when fuel is low and red when critically low. Driving range: This is an important reference, but only a reference. Some vehicles display the remaining mileage after the indicator light comes on, but can still run when the mileage shows 0; some vehicles stop displaying the remaining mileage altogether after the fuel warning light comes on; and some models don't have this driving range function at all.
