What Level Does SRAM X7 Belong To?

The X7 in the transmission is divided into the older 9-speed and the newer 10-speed versions. The 9-speed X7 roughly corresponds to the level between Alivio (4000 series) and 9-speed Deore (590 series), while the 10-speed X7 is approximately equivalent to the level between Deore (610) and SLX (670). The gear compatibility between them is also largely consistent. The crankset of X7 is roughly equivalent to the Deore level of the same speed. Below is an introduction to SRAM X7: SRAM's mountain bike transmission kits are divided into two categories, one is the single-chainring system (generally referred to as 1x), and the other is the double and triple-chainring systems. Currently, SRAM's single-chainring system is only used on racing-level bikes. Similar to Shimano, SRAM also has special customizations, such as the X01 for DH.
