Tianfu Hao is an electric multiple unit (EMU) train. Below is relevant information about automobiles: 1. Definition of automobile: According to China's latest national standard "Terms and Definitions of Motor Vehicles and Trailers" (GB/T 3730.1-2001), an automobile is defined as: A non-rail-borne vehicle with four or more wheels, powered by an engine, mainly used for transporting people and/or goods; towing vehicles for transporting people and/or goods; or for special purposes. 2. Introduction to domestic automobile brands: Domestic automobile brands include Hongqi, Changan, Great Wall, Chery, Geely, Roewe, BYD, etc.
To be honest, I also thought Tianfu was a new car brand when I first looked it up, but I was completely wrong. Tianfu isn’t a sedan or an SUV—it’s a hydrogen-powered autonomous rail transit train developed by CRRC Chengdu, which had its trial run in Xinjin, Chengdu last year! It runs on regular roads without needing rail grooves, relying on cameras to identify ground markings—totally like a sci-fi scene. With a large hydrogen tank on its roof, it can travel 150 kilometers on a full charge, and its three-carriage design can carry 300 more passengers than a regular bus. An elderly man who used it for morning grocery shopping said it rides as smoothly as a subway. Unfortunately, it’s currently mainly used for demonstration line testing—I really hope it gets expanded to our neighborhood soon.
