What kind of fuel does a Geely car use?

Geely cars use 93-octane or higher unleaded gasoline. Introduction to gasoline: Gasoline is a volatile, flammable hydrocarbon mixture liquid obtained from petroleum through distillation and cracking, used as fuel. It appears as a transparent liquid, is flammable, with a distillation range of 30°C to 220°C. Its main components are C5-C12 aliphatic hydrocarbons and naphthenes, along with a certain amount of aromatic hydrocarbons. Gasoline grades: Gasoline has a high octane number (anti-knock combustion performance) and is divided into grades such as 89, 90, 92, 93, 95, 97, and 98 based on octane ratings. Starting from January 2012, the gasoline grades 90, 93, and 97 were revised to 89, 92, and 95 respectively.
I've been driving a Geely car for several years, and generally, using 92-octane gasoline works just fine. The engine runs smoothly, and the price is affordable. If your car is a turbocharged model, you might need 95-octane gasoline for better performance. However, it's best to first check the owner's manual for the recommended type. Using the wrong fuel can easily lead to carbon buildup or reduced performance, and repairs can be troublesome. Make it a habit to check the octane rating label on the fuel tank cap before refueling regularly, as this can extend the engine's lifespan. If you notice a sudden increase in fuel consumption, it might be due to fuel quality issues. It's more reliable to refuel at official gas stations like PetroChina or Sinopec. In short, just like people, cars need careful attention.
