What kind of engine oil should be used for the new Emgrand?

Gelly New Emgrand is suitable for engine oil with the specification of SAE10W-30. When the ambient temperature is below 0°C, SAE5W-30 can be used instead. The API quality grade should be SL or above. Naturally aspirated engines can use mineral oil or synthetic oil, while turbocharged engines should use synthetic engine oil. It is recommended to use the original Emgrand engine oil or oils such as Mobil Delvac and Shell Helix HX6. Below are the methods to identify the quality of lubricating oil: 1. Carefully observe the color and quality of the lubricating oil: Domestic genuine engine oil is mostly light blue in color, bright in luster, and flows evenly. Any oil with uneven color or flowing with abnormal color lines is fake or deteriorated lubricating oil. Imported lubricating oil is mostly golden with a slight blue tint, crystal clear and transparent. The oil barrel is exquisitely made, with clear and neat edges of the patterns and codes, and no color leakage or overlapping. Otherwise, it is fake. 2. Carefully check the packaging: Inferior lubricating oil has poor packaging and printing quality, with unclear handwriting. Generally, the outer packaging of genuine products is of good quality, with clear handwriting on the packaging box, bright color printing, and marked with product name, specification model, quantity, registered trademark, factory name, factory address, and telephone number, etc., with a certificate of conformity and inspector's seal. 3. Smell the odor: Qualified lubricating oil should have no special odor. If it has a pungent odor or abnormal smell, it is deteriorated or inferior lubricating oil.
