I run an auto repair shop and have seen plenty of Roewe RX5s. The factory recommends using 5W-30 full synthetic oil. SAIC has recommended Castrol Edge, but Mobil 1 or Shell Helix Ultra are also fine. The 1.5T engine takes about 4 liters, while the 2.0T requires around 5.5 liters. Turbocharged engines have higher oil requirements - never cheap out with mineral oil as insufficient high-temperature protection can cause cylinder scoring. In hot southern summers, 0W-40 viscosity works too for smoother cold starts. Recommend changing every 8,000 km or 6 months, or every 7,000 km in heavy traffic cities. The oil cap shows markings like 'SM/GF-4' - always match this specification when selecting oil.
