What Kind of Air to Use on the Windshield in Winter?

In winter, use warm air to defrost the windshield. Although it may be slower, it fundamentally solves the issue with the glass. Tips for using warm air in winter: Start the engine and drive normally. After warming up for a while, wait until the temperature gauge needle reaches the middle position before turning on the warm air. Set the air circulation to external circulation first to let the cold air escape from the car. After 2 to 3 minutes, switch to internal circulation. This will quickly warm up the interior without putting a burden on the engine. Precautions for using warm air in winter: Turning on the warm air immediately after starting the car is harmful to the vehicle. When the car has just started, the engine and radiator have not yet reached their ideal working temperature. Prematurely transferring heat to the interior means the car must continuously provide more heat to the engine and radiator, inevitably increasing fuel consumption. First, turn on external circulation, then switch to internal circulation. To heat up quickly, you can use external circulation to rapidly expel cold air from the car and purify the interior air. This allows for faster heating, usually taking about 3 minutes before switching to internal circulation. Do not leave the heater on continuously without ever turning it off, even after parking the car. This practice is very damaging, not only increasing fuel consumption but also draining the battery. The AC button should not be pressed; it is only used for the car’s air conditioning in summer.
