Zoom-Zoom refers to the vehicles under FAW Mazda. FAW Mazda Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. was established on March 1, 2005, with its headquarters located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is a joint venture automobile sales company co-founded by China FAW Group Corporation, FAW Car Co., Ltd., and Mazda Motor Corporation of Japan. Its product lineup includes models such as the Atenza, Mazda6, Mazda6 Ruiyi, and CX-4. Key milestones in development: On March 13, 2018, at the "2018 China Automotive Quality Forum" held in Beijing, FAW Mazda was awarded the "2018 China Automotive Excellence Quality Golden Reputation Award." In April 2021, FAW Group, Mazda, and Changan Automobile entered into negotiations, with plans to merge the Mazda brand-related operations conducted by FAW Mazda into Changan Mazda, a subsidiary of Changan Automobile. In August 2021, the Anti-Monopoly Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation published the "Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. Acquisition of FAW Mazda Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. Equity Case" on its official website. On August 30, 2021, Changan Mazda officially completed the acquisition of FAW Mazda.
I remember when someone asked what the Zoom model was, they might have misunderstood it as a specific car model. In fact, it's not the name of a particular car but Mazda's brand slogan 'Zoom-Zoom,' specifically used to describe the fun feeling of driving. Friends who have driven Mazda cars understand that exhilarating sensation from acceleration and cornering, especially in models like their MX-5 sports car, which best embodies this spirit. When I drive, I often feel life is dull without a bit of driving excitement, so even though it's not a car model, this concept makes ordinary family cars more appealing. Nowadays, many brands have adopted this approach, blending sporty performance into safe models, making driving not just about transportation but an enjoyable experience. I think understanding this clearly can save time from aimless online searches and instead focus on truly reliable car-buying information.
