Working principle of the canister purge solenoid valve: The canister purge solenoid valve controls the purging effect of the canister through the modulation of electrical pulse width. The ECU computer, based on different engine operating conditions, grounds or interrupts the solenoid valve circuit at a certain frequency. The ECU computer controls the vacuum of the purging canister by operating a normally closed solenoid valve. The canister is typically installed between the fuel tank and the engine. Since gasoline is a highly volatile liquid, the fuel tank often contains vapor at normal temperatures. The fuel evaporation emission control system directs these vapors into the combustion process and prevents them from being released into the atmosphere. The activated carbon canister storage device plays a crucial role in this process.
