When the eccentric wheel presses the rocker arm to drive the piston downward, the lower chamber's volume decreases, causing the pressure to rise. This closes the inlet valve and opens the outlet valve, allowing the oil from the lower chamber to flow through the three-way valve to the upper chamber of the piston. Main components of a manual fuel pump: The main components of a manual fuel pump include the oil suction and pressure plunger, inlet valve, outlet valve, and pressure relief valve. The sealed space formed by the plunger and the inlet/outlet valves constitutes the working chamber of the pump. When the plunger moves upward, increasing the volume of the working chamber from small to large, the pressure inside the chamber drops below atmospheric pressure, causing the inlet valve to open and allowing oil to enter the working chamber through the oil filter valve. Function of the fuel transfer pump: The fuel transfer pump ensures the circulation of diesel in the low-pressure fuel circuit and supplies an adequate quantity of fuel at a certain pressure to the injection pump. Its fuel delivery capacity should be 3-4 times the maximum injection volume under full load. Fuel transfer pumps can be categorized into gear-type, diaphragm-type, plunger-type, and pipeline-type pumps, among others.
