Working principle of a car air conditioner: The components of a car air conditioner are connected into a sealed system using copper pipes and high-pressure rubber hoses. When the refrigeration system operates, the refrigerant circulates within this sealed system in different states. Each cycle consists of four basic processes: compression process, heat dissipation process, throttling process, and heat absorption process. A car air conditioner refers to the air conditioning device installed in a vehicle, which can cool, heat, ventilate, and purify the air inside the cabin, providing a comfortable environment for passengers, reducing driver fatigue, and improving driving safety. Car air conditioners generally include refrigeration devices, heating devices, and ventilation devices. This combined system makes full use of the limited space inside the vehicle, featuring a simple structure and easy operation.

Like most people, I rely entirely on the air conditioning to survive summer driving. The principle is actually quite simple: the system contains a refrigerant, which the compressor pressurizes into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas and sends to the condenser at the front of the car. When the fan blows, it cools down and turns into a liquid. This liquid then passes through the expansion valve, where its pressure is reduced, and enters the evaporator—located beneath the cabin—where it absorbs heat, evaporates back into a gas, and blows out cold air. The whole process cycles continuously, like a closed-loop pipeline. I often experience its efficiency during long drives—set it to 23°C, and within minutes, the cabin cools down. However, it's important not to blast the AC at full power immediately in summer; give the system some time to warm up. Also, replace the filter every six months, as dust can clog the vents, reducing cooling efficiency and potentially causing odors. Regular maintenance can even save fuel—last time I DIY-replaced the filter, I immediately noticed stronger cooling.

What is the working principle of a rotary engine?

Working principle of a rotary engine: The rotary engine directly converts the combustion expansion force of combustible gas into driving torque. Compared with reciprocating engines, the rotary engine eliminates useless linear motion, resulting in a smaller size, lighter weight, and lower vibration and noise for the same power output, giving it significant advantages. Conventional engines are reciprocating engines, where pistons move back and forth in a straight line within the cylinders. To convert this linear motion into rotational motion, a crankshaft-slider mechanism is required. In contrast, the rotary engine uses a triangular rotor's rotational motion to control compression and exhaust, which differs significantly from the linear motion of traditional reciprocating piston engines.

Does an Engine Boiling Over Require an Overhaul?

An engine boiling over does not require an overhaul. When an engine boils over, a large amount of white steam will emerge from the engine cover, which is very easy to notice. At this point, you only need to immediately stop the vehicle, turn off the engine, and let it cool down naturally. As long as the operation is standardized, it is rare for an overhaul to be necessary. Causes: There are many reasons for a car boiling over. Apart from hot weather, overloaded air conditioning operation and faulty cooling components can also cause the car to boil over. Conducting a comprehensive inspection of the car's cooling system is the primary method to prevent boiling over. Check whether the cooling fan is working properly, whether the radiator is leaking, and whether there is a lack of coolant. If the radiator is leaking, it needs to be repaired or replaced promptly. If the radiator is low on coolant, it should be replenished in time. If the coolant becomes turbid or deteriorated, it needs to be replaced. Solution for a Boiling Over Car: The first thing to do when noticing the engine boiling over is to immediately pull over and stop the car. Boiling over means the engine is losing its cooling capacity, and the internal temperature of the engine will rise rapidly at this time. If the cooling is not sufficient immediately or the operation is not standardized enough, it can easily affect the strength of internal components such as pistons, piston rings, and connecting rods, causing them to weaken, deform, or even be damaged. In severe cases, it may lead to the engine being directly scrapped.

How to Adjust the Steering Wheel When the Car Body is Not Straight?

When the car body is not straight, the method to adjust the steering wheel is: when reversing, turn the steering wheel in the direction you want the rear of the car to go. When moving forward, turn the steering wheel towards the side that is wider. Tips for aligning the car body: The simplest method is to use the center line or edge line of the road. If you feel you are driving in the left 1/3 of the lane, the car is driving in the center of the lane. If it's less than 1/3, you need to slightly adjust the steering wheel to the right. If you feel you are driving in the center of the lane, you need to slightly adjust the steering wheel to the left. When the markings on the two rearview mirrors are parallel to the car body, the car body is straight. Otherwise, you need to slightly adjust the steering wheel. If parking, you can observe whether the car body is parallel to the edge of the road or the parking line. If there is a car next to you, you can observe whether the distance between your car and the adjacent car is equal at the front and rear. The above methods can help determine if the car is straight. When driving straight at higher speeds, the steering wheel will have a self-aligning force. You can follow the steering wheel's force to straighten the car body and drive straight.
