I've been driving the new Sagitar for a while. The official wading depth is about 300 to 400 millimeters, which is roughly half the height of the wheel. The air intake of the new Sagitar is positioned at the lower part of the engine compartment. If it's too high, water can easily enter, causing the engine to suck in water and malfunction or even stall. I've read the manual, which mentions not exceeding 400 millimeters because deeper water, wave impacts, or poor bottom sealing can allow water to enter the engine bay. When encountering standing water in daily driving, it's best to visually estimate the depth first, maybe even measure the height of roadside bricks with a ruler, and avoid forcing through. During the rainy season, park on higher ground. After driving through water, immediately check the air filter and undercarriage to prevent rust and electrical shorts. The underbody protection panel of this car isn't very sturdy. Last time during a heavy rain, I tested it on a 30cm-deep pothole—driving slowly was fine, but absolutely don't risk anything over 40cm.
