What is the valve clearance of the Sonata?
1 Answers
The valve clearance of the Sonata is 0.2mm for the intake and 0.25mm for the exhaust. When the engine is running, the valves will expand due to the increase in temperature. To eliminate this phenomenon, a certain gap is usually left between the valve and its transmission mechanism during cold assembly of the engine to compensate for the expansion of the valve after heating, which is called the valve clearance. The length, width, and height of the Sonata are 4800mm, 1832mm, and 1475mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2730mm, front track of 1565mm, rear track of 1550mm, minimum ground clearance of 160mm, front interior height of 1226mm, and rear interior height of 1226mm.
